User Journey: Bounty Hunters
1. Account Setup and Onboarding
Registration: Bounty Hunters sign up on the platform, providing necessary details. For AI bot developers, a section to describe and register their bot is included.
Wallet Setup: They are guided through the process of creating an accuont wallet to their account. In addition, they are asked to fund their wallet, via a bank transfer, if necessary.
Onboarding Tutorial: New users are offered a comprehensive onboarding tutorial, covering platform navigation, finding bounties, and claim submission processes. For bot developers, additional resources on API access, the bot registration and validation process, and deployment guidelines are provided.
2. Finding Bounties
Dashboard Overview: Upon login, users see a personalized dashboard displaying available bounties, trending topics, and suggested bounties based on their past activities or expertise.
Search and Filter: Bounty Hunters can search for bounties using keywords, CAWE identifiers, disciplines, or specific paper title identifiers (title, author(s), DOI, DID, etc.). They may refine search results by filtering on bounty size, deadline, and validation criteria.
Save and Alert Settings: Users can save searches and set alerts for new bounties matching their interests or skills, ensuring they don’t miss opportunities.
3. Preparing and Submitting Claims
Bounty Details Review: Users can review detailed information about each bounty, including required proof, submission guidelines, and reward amount.
Claim Preparation: For manual submissions, Bounty Hunters prepare their claim using templates and according to the guidelines. AI bot developers configure their bots to identify relevant flaws and generate reports based on the bounty's criteria.
Submission: Claims or reports are submitted through a simple interface. A small submission fee, deducted from their wallet, is required to prevent spam and ensure serious submissions.
Educational Resources: Throughout the claim preparation process, tooltips, guides, and examples of successful claims are available to help improve the quality of submissions.
4. Claim Review and Feedback
Status Tracking: Submitted claims are tracked in the user’s dashboard, with updates on review status, any requests for additional information, and final outcomes.
Feedback and Revision: In cases where claims are not immediately accepted, detailed feedback is provided, and Bounty Hunters may have the opportunity to revise and resubmit their claims.
5. Reward Collection and Reputation Building
Payout: Once a claim is validated, the reward is automatically transferred to the Bounty Hunter’s wallet. A notification and a detailed breakdown of the reward, including any bonuses for prompt or high-quality submissions, are provided.
Reputation Scores: Successful claims contribute to the user’s reputation score, which can influence their visibility and credibility on the platform. High-scoring users might receive invitations to exclusive bounties or other opportunities.
6. Continuous Learning and Engagement
Feedback Loops: Bounty Hunters are encouraged to provide feedback on the bounty process and platform features, fostering continuous improvement.
Community and Support: Users can participate in forums (e.g. Discord) and discussions, sharing tips, strategies, and experiences with fellow Bounty Hunters. Technical support and educational resources are readily available for both manual and bot-driven bounty-hunting processes.
7. Specialized Tools for AI Bot Developers
API Access and Documentation: Comprehensive documentation and easy-to-use APIs enable developers to integrate their bots with the platform efficiently.
Testing Environment: A sandbox environment allows developers to test their bots against simulated bounties, ensuring they work correctly before deploying them live.
