Working Group (WG): CRWE

Goal: To develop and maintain a transparent taxonomy of paper weaknesses that can be used to set bounties and provide unambiguous reasons why a paper is unreliable

Critical success factors:

• Bounty-level weaknesses are appropriately granular and preferably constative to encourage bounties.

• Bounty-level weaknesses are mutually exclusive and collectively exhaustive.

Necessary conditions and actions:

• A transparent and open process for soliciting and approving improvement proposals to the framework

• Continuous engagement with the academic community for updates and revisions to maintain relevance and adaptability
