WG: Marketing and Outreach
Goal: To ensure the Referee project successfully raises bounties and recruits a diverse pool of participants to the project
Critical success factors:
A sufficient number of bounties are raised to attract paper reviewers
Buy-in from people with the right expertise to evaluate papers
Specific necessary conditions and actions:
Expertise in helping clients prioritize bounties
Outreach across geographical and cultural boundaries
Integration with existing platforms (e.g. Google Scholar) to increase the transmission of paper reliability scores
Outreach programs to non-academic communities to diversify the pool of reviewers and perspectives.
